Nintendo 3DS

With a wider screen on top, two cameras on the back for taking 3D photos, and of course, glasses-free 3D display on the upper screen while the lower screen sports touch-screen capabilities, all wrapped around a core that is--according to Nintendo--powerful enough to rival current gen consoles, the Nintendo 3DS is turning heads and on the forefront of rocketing Nintendo's handheld platform series even farther ahead of consoles in the video game system wars.

Two of my favorite parts about this system so far, are the ability to adjust the depth of 3D from zero (off) to very deep 3D view, and the much-needed joystick (slidepad?) which every DS version up until now sorely lacked.

What do you guys think? Will you get one?

Kirby's Epic Yarn Gameplay

Nintendo revealed a completely new Kirby game to hit a console in about 7 years at E3 2010, and as silly as the name sounds, the gameplay looks pretty fun! Not that you can expect any less from a Kirby game. No release date has been mentioned, but it was noted that the game would debut on the Wii.

Take a look at the gameplay for yourself in this video.

Final Fantasy XIV 3D Surround

Interesting video from Square-Enix. It shows Final Fantasy XIV in 3D. That could be quite the interesting way to play, but I'd think people would rather play in standard 2D to avoid the headaches of glasses-required 3D viewing. Especially for the amount of hours MMO players tend to spend playing games like this.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Screenshots Released

Take a look at the first screenshots of Kingdom Hearts 3D, a game that apparently takes us back to the same time as the first game in the series. Perhaps it might even be the first game, rendered for the coming 3D compatible Nintendo 3DS.

Release date is still being determined.

Have look and tell us what you think in the comments!
